A warm summer wind blew through my hair as I road with my brothers with nary a care. We’d come many miles and seen many sites; there was much farther to go in a few more nights. The time was magnificent; I wouldn’t trade it for riches; the riding divine with curves and switches. Then all of a sudden I learned what they said, that one wrong move and I could be dead. But I’m not you see, because the time isn’t right – not yet for me. I think of my family and my girl back home, I’m not done yet, won’t leave them alone. I’m here in one piece battered and bruised but I’ll be back for another cruise. I have been blessed with the gift of love from so many great people and from up above. I’ll carry a scar, maybe two or three, but I won’t give up, that’s just not me.

For Lucas McNutt ~ 8/8/12 – Lucas is a friend from the American Knights Motorcycle Club of Chicago. He and a bunch of his brothers went to Sturgis this year and unfortunately Lucas and Greg were involved in a crash. Greg was mostly ok, but Lucas got banged up pretty darn bad. He’ll come through just fine, but the scare is phenomenal when somebody you care about is far from home and in pain. Love ya brother.
